in Daytona. The name of the event is called the Xtreme Cage Fighting
Championships (xtremecagefighting.net). Ryan's original opponent was a
fighter by the
name of Tracy Mcgee. Tracy, fighting out of Ocala, FL recently injured

House Charity Tournament!

Jonathan Burke's Gracie Orlando will host another in house tournament
on Saturday December 13th, 2008. There will be two divisions of the
tournament, kids and adults. This tournament is designed to compete,
have fun but most of all, raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital
(www.stjude.org). There will be a $10.00 "through door fee." This means
that anyone who walks through the door on that day will have to pay a
$10.00 fee. If you are a family of 3 or more, we ask

Disney Martial Arts Festival!

On the weekend of October 25th and 26th, two young Warriors from
Jonathan Burke's Gracie Orlando had competed in the Disney Martial Arts
Festival at downtown Disney. The young bucks names are Brandon and
Nicholas Recanati. Both boys have been training at JBGO for a few years
and attend classes regularly. They love to compete and their records
show. That weekend of the Disney tournament was yet another notch on
their competetive belts.

for The Ultimate Fighter!

Ryan "who dat" Keenan of Jonathan Burke's Gracie Orlando was
INVITED to tryout for The Ultimate
Fighter season 9 show. The show will pitt TEAM USA vs TEAM UK and will have weight classes
155 and 170. Ryan was called on Thursday October 23rd by a Spike TV
producer and that is when he was invited to fly to Chicago and make his
showing. Ryan is originally from an extremely small town so you could
imagine how huge this is for him and his family.

Thanksgiving holiday school schedule.

Thanksgiving holiday. The school will close on Tuesday November 25th
AFTER the morning class. It will be closed from Tuesday the 25th around
12pm through Sunday November 30th.

party this past Friday November 24th from 5pm-7pm. The party was
designed to be an opportunity for all of the kids in the school ages 13
and under to get together to have some fun, play some games, enter some
contests, socially interact with others and meet new people.

Jonathan Burke's Gracie Orlando is set to host its second annual Halloween party. The party is for any child who trains at Gracie Orlando under the age of 13. Each child is allowed to bring one friend. All attendees MUST dress up and come in a costume.
